MAFINGA
JUNIOR SEMINARY
STUDENT LIFE
Students’ Activities and Self – Reliance:
As usual, our seminarians participated in different activities as part of their formation. They continued taking care of their rooms, the church, playgrounds and the campus at large. They are involved in gardening and farming activities. Farming and gardening is taken to be part and parcel of student’s formation towards their later ministry in the church of Africa. Formators emphasize repeatedly on the importance of self – reliant spirit. Students show a very positive attitude towards manual work. Hence we still do not spend a cent to buy a sack of maize, meat or vegetables. Apart from gardening and farming we have other self –help activities such as bee keeping, book binding, electricity and maintenance group.
